For my first post in the “Recipes” category, I am delighted to share with you one of my favorite recipes : Pancakes. They are both simple and delicious, perfect for breakfast, but also at any time of the day, because let's be honest, there is no fixed time to enjoy pancakes, is there ?
Personally, I like to prepare them on weekend mornings, when the mood takes me. They go wonderfully with spread, maple syrup, or fresh fruit, but to be honest, we can accompany them with anything we want ! there are no rules for enjoying your Pancakes.
Ingredients :
For about 12 pancakes :
— 1 egg
— 1 tbsp [1] oil
— 1 tbsp sugar
— 150 g of flour
— 1 packet of yeast
— 200 ml milk
(Attention these are European measures)
Preparation :
— Mix the egg, oil, and sugar in a dish
— Mix the flour and baking powder separately
— Gently stir half of the flour and baking powder into the dish while stirring to avoid lumps
— Add half the milk
— Stir
— Stir in the rest of the flour and baking powder
— Stir until you get a smooth and slightly thick dough
— Cook in a lightly oiled pan to prevent the Pancake from sticking for two minutes on each side
Tip :
If the dough is too liquid, add a little flour.
If the dough is too thick, add a little milk.
